  • 1 in 5 people are homeless because of mental health problems. (MIND)
  • Two thirds of homeless Londoners cite drugs and alcohol as the reason for becoming homeless. (Crisis, 2002)
  • Up to 70% of people sleeping rough experience mental health problems. (MIND)
  • Over 35% of homeless people have a drug or alcohol problem. (St Mungos, 2004)
