The 999 Emergency Call Out on 09.09.09 is a call for all Londoners to unite in PEACE at Newham Town Hall, Barking Road, East Ham, London, E6 2Rp, 7pm- 10pm.
The vision is to raise awareness of various crises within our nation and beyond; an emergency appeal for restoration, reconciliation and revival.
The aim is to provide ways to eradicate problems such as gun and knife crime, gang culture, poverty, deprivation, family breakdown and abuse.
The evening will be hosted by a leading motivational speaker Action Jackson with a vast array of inspirational live performances in music by Rachel Kerr, Triple O, DDT, Faith Child, Jason Nicholson-Porter; poetry by Mr T, comedy by A Dot Comedian and dance by Sole2Soul plus special guest appearances taking you through an inspirational evening of entertainment, education and enlightenment.
There will be testimonials from members of the public such as ex-offenders, victims of crime, ex-gang members and emergency services survivors.
Invited special guest speakers include The Mayor of London, The Metropolitan Police,Nathaniel Peat (CEO of Safetybox & from TV series The Last Millionaire Standing), Nathan John (Youth Enlightenment Limited), Muyiwa (Premier Radio), plus many more professionals known across the UK.
The 1st of its kind event that calls on the community, politicians, charities, emergency services and talented professionals on the 9th day of the 9th month in the year 2009 whilst drawing together the voices of victims of crime along-side that of ex-offenders, ex-gang members and the emergency services; allowing us to hear the causes of these issues, the real life experiences of those who are affected by the issues, and the ongoing works to eradicate these issues.
Reaching out to all parts of the community, Spectacular Arts also known as SAS Promotions will work with top professionals, charities and emergency services with the united vision of PEACE.
Donations from all ticket sales will be made towards elected charities such and community projects involved in tackling anti-social behaviour, gun & knife crime and gang culture.
